FYI, the cases that had the so-called “weird stand” is actually a tool to push the AirPods case out of the protective case by inserting it in the lightning port, and simply pushing up while holding the exterior case. It will slide the AirPods case out of the protective case.

I don’t know if it’s me but when I use the medium ear tip it kinda slips out so I tried out the small ear tips but I feel like the noise cancellation is kinda worse on the small ear tips.
