I'm impressed by the Runes protocol. It could get crazy at the halving when the runes come online! The Bitcoin network is very robust (so far) but the transaction fees can skyrocket is my guess.

That was the video I was missing !! 🤦‍♂
It's important to understand UTXOs, and the way tx are splitted, to understand the utility of Rune protocol (RP).
So now I'm going to watch again yesterday's video (22/04) with Jack from Magic Eden. Because at this stage I get the fungibility of RP, it's the NFT part I don't get... But I don't get NFTs in general, and for me, maybe skip the NFT part to focus on the Fungibilty utility of RP.

Hey Rob, looking at some of the comments so far, I think people might be getting confused because the title of the video currently has "Rune" instead of 'Runes, " and I suspect that is leading some people to believe this video is about the altcoin Rune and not a new protocol. Easy enough mistake to make on both sides, and I appreciate the concise yet informative video!

Thanks Rob! Very useful introduction to Runes (which have nothing to do with Thor chain). Runes in the ancient world turn out to be old representations of the Greek alphabet found far from Greece like around the Black Sea. They have acquired an esoteric, magic reputation. And now they are being used in Magic Internet Money. Full circle!
