not everyone is going to run out and go to these big places the majority will shop local i would shop local so i dont have to waste money on gas

The minimum price laws have nothing to do with protecting small shops. They were put in place by distributors to protect their wholesale margins.

Distributors pretty much run the ABC boards and control the legislatures with regards to liquor laws in most states. Retailers have almost no say with how laws are made and enforced in the liquor industry. It’s all pretty much controlled by the distributors.

it should absolutely be illegal for a government., state or federal to tell any business how much they have to charge for anything. That is why it is called free enterprise. Consumers should be allowed to buy whatever they want from anywhere they want and pay what they feel is a fair price without government interference.
if the government controls enterprise then we might as well be communist or socialist.
