This is a great machine, I had one in the 90s, a friend gave me one of these and a sinclair z88 for my birthday a few years ago. Best present ever

Those machines have really nice keyboard, sadly the level-display on the NC100 and NC150 is not nice to look at, it was much better at the NC200 where the display could be tilted individually from the keyboard.

I'd say the mid 95's seems about right my former school when i was there in 1995 had a bunch of these which were leant to students who were struggling to write.

I used this computer when I was at school as I was struggling and learning Support lent me this computer, which I used to take home and do my homework on, and play around and write programs which I wasn’t supposed to do and got into trouble once as I added a Password to files and had to give it to another student but forgot to remove the password, which I was unofficially at home using as a diary, which I sadly deleted as didn’t have time to Print it before handing back.

ive been playing with the nc100 and managed to get to connect to a few bbs boards and also communicate with linux :-)

If you find the memory is full because someone tried to write a text adventure game on it in Basic....that was mine :D

Oh I actually got one of those a couple of years ago, but I still don't know where to find those memory cards nor the right cables to make it communicate with the computer, sad enough. Not the adapter either, but that may be easier. Works good as a "note-to-oneself"-gadget though :)

i have nc100 too! but the display is so dim now, do you have any ideas how to fix it?
