Russia unleashes missile barrage on Ukraine, killing at least four

At least four people have been killed after a Russian missile attack on two of Ukraine's largest cities.

Almost 100 people were also injured in the attacks on Kyiv and Kharkiv on Tuesday.

It follows comments made by Russian President Vladimir Putin who said Ukraine's attack on a Russian city last week would “not go unpunished”.

Russia has amped up its air strikes on Ukraine over the last week after conducting its largest attack since the beginning of the conflict.

Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky said Russia would “answer for every life taken away” following the assault.
