As someone who lived in CO -- Breckenfridge is great for beginners despite what it says in video ..the blues at breck are greens at most of the other CO resorts.. In particular peak 7 has its own lift - its basically all blues but to call them "blue" is a stretch. Theyr're basically greens. A novice can spend the whole day there lapping without getting lost with very little consequences as thats what I did when I was learning to Fun town as well but gets very busy and wind closures are real with the gondola .>> There's a reason locals call it "breckenfridge". Its cold, windy and sometimes awesome...

I’ve been waiting for this one! I absolutely love this mountain, especially all the High Alpine Terrain!

I love Breck! The bowls are just great but I love the Windows trails. Expert only: Steep, tight glades, crossing small streams; it's just a breath of fresh air in there, especially solo or with a buddy. You can't slow down in there as there are no places really to move over so if it's crowded wait a bit, you'll love it! And it's usually no big deal but getting acclimated to the thinner air is something you might want to think about, especially for people over 40. The base sits at 9600 ft with 13000 ft. at the summit. Thanks for posting this! Good job hitting Breckenridge's highlights.

Fantastic content! You’re really providing so much value. As someone who travels to destination resorts these videos are very useful

Glad you mentioned a bit about the town - the apres ski is amazing in Breck, such a great town with pretty much every kind of food you could ask for. It is a real shame what Vail Resorts has done to the park skiing there. That is not where I would hang out personally but the vibes back when they invested in the parks were awesome, they even used to have a mini half-pipe on 9. Great mountain though

I have never skied before and will be working at one of the resorts in Breckenridge this winter. This video gets me pumped for all the possibilities, thanks for making it!

I’ve always had subpar experiences at Breck compared to every other summit county resort. Honestly I find making the extra drive to Vail worth it. Lift lines and snow are usually much better there.

A note on the EPIC Pass, there is an option for a day pass good for 1 to 7 days if you don't plan on skiing enough to justify a whole season pass.

You make great videos and I have found them accurate. You mentioned multiple times about the altitude but I don’t remember you giving the numbers. Maybe I missed it, if I did my bad. Take care

Excellent review. Though I disagree with the overall rankings as I think both Breck and Keystone are better than A Basin. One thing that you might consider adding to your reviews is the crowd type that skis at each location. Some are more family friendly while others are frequented by more "free spirits" ;) This can make a difference to some people.

You’ve reminded me why I would get up high and stay high…to avoid the crowding at lower elevations. 😁
Also, I’ve recently been recounting the concussions I’ve had, and the shot starting at 0:10 is a spot where I got lazy, lost control, and fell…getting concussed.

Great video, very well explained. My wife and I are considering going to Breckenridge this winter. We did our honeymoon this past January in Jackson Hole, I would imagine this isn't quite as challenging (or expensive) as that.

Ha ha, Chair 6 being on Peak 8 was never confusing until they opened Peak 6. All the lifts on 8 used to be numbered, and those on 9 were letters. So you can tell which ones are so old they were there when Breck was only those 2 peaks. The 6 chair is slow, yeah, but It's usually a good option on peak days. I like to do a lap up the Super-connector, to 6, to Imperial, and then come down Lake Chutes, back bowls, and the Bone Yard, and then catch the Superconnector at the mid load. It's a great long vertical, and usually you can avoid the too many crowds. Everyone heads up to Imperial, but the singles line usually moves quick. Maybe 10% do the hike but it's so worth it.
