You can use a Skin to quickly change the images used in your GUI and the x, y locations of objects on the fly at run time, so yes, you could quickly change the appearance of a scroller or other object using a new skin/theme. However, changes such as how user input like gestures may affect an object would require another codegen process. That process is short, though. For example, to generate code/compile/execute the multi-GUI running on the i.MX 6 in the above video takes about 6 minutes.
