2012 Maxima AC compressor not working - Quick AC compressor Diag

How to Quickly get diagnosis direction for an AC compressor thats not working on a 2012 Nissan Maxima with an AC inop issue.

NOTE: fans will come on when AC is commanded on and there is a decent amount of Freon in the system, a quick way to rule out a leak as the possible cause on most Nissans.

I like it 👍 one thing i like to do after confirming the command is turning off the ac, then putting my test light from the ground to the positive, if it lights, you've ruled out an open wire. Quick and dirty 😉

If I have power at the white wire but none at the compressor can I just run a wire from the white wire down to the compressor?

What would be your next test if no power comes out from the wire, i have power on the 41 fuse 10amp, and i think the ac relay is build in the fuse box, ? Do you know what is the control wire at fuse box?? Thanks in advance.

What kind of voltage should be coming from that wire? I’m using a multimeter

Hey man quick question
I have a 2009 3.5L maxima
The ac is working from time to time when it works it works fine it blows really cool air but it would just stop working for no reason what could be the cause of it? Relay? Clutch?

The white wire seems to be a ground, because I dont get a positive connection

I tried it and no power on the white wire. I put direct power to the AC compressor and the clutch engages. So if I’m not get power to the white wire and the fuse is good. What else is there to test?

So what was the problem, pressure switch er clutch? What engine is that, 2L or bigger? Working on a 2014 3.5L Murano. - thanks man, take care.
