Do we have to know that from 6C to 4C the actual steps I.E 5C formed and etc. or can we just say overall what happen like you explained in the video

In the link reaction, where does the oxygen come from to make the CO2?

thank you, I understand perfectly in the link reaction why wasnt 2 acetate molecules being produced mentioned? does it only produce once because I thought the acetate would be produced twice as there is two pyruvate molecules.

the products for link reaction for 1 pyruvate does it not form 1 NADH 1CO2 1ACETYLCOA because a pyruvate is only 3 carbons so 1 is lost to make CO2 which then forms acetate but how does 1 glucose form 2 CO2 that doesn't make sense
