For anyone working with doll customization, specifically anyone who needs the hair combed super well, flea combs made for pets work really well, maybe better than the combs that come with the dolls. Also you can dilute liquid fabric softener in water (like 10 to 20 parts water to 1 part fabric softener) in a sprayer to use as detangling spray for any plastic doll hair.

As someone who actually wears a "puffy butt thing" for my work (historical interpreter!) They're usually called lobster tails, butt cushions, or bustles (depending on the time period) Cinderella's particular "puffy butt thing" would likely have been a bustle, just based on where it sits on her body.

Tips for the dolls makeovers:
Try to sand before AND after the sculpey so is smooth.
Thin layers of paint are way better than thick layers!
For the hair I personally always take it off. U can do wigs or just glue to the doll itself!

To redraw doll faces just remember the 3 basis:
-100% acetone
-Mr. Super Clear spray
-watercolor pencils

Even if somebody uses acrilic Paint.
