I like how she immediately broke into crying after falling off the box thing. I know it's an obvious thing, but it's always funny to see her act her age. She can do all sorts of incredible things at times, but if she falls she'll cry just like any other kid.

One thing about this show I like is how Anya realistically acts like a child, same goes for all the other children we’ve seen so far (aside from some one note joke characters). Seriously, tell me how often you see children in anime cry like how Anya does when they fall on their face. Anya is pretty intelligent for her age (she nearly matches up with kids a few years older than her) but that is easily explained through her telepathy. She picked up on how people speak much faster since she hears people’s thoughts all the time.

I love that drawing part. After Anya’s tells Loid what she’s drawing, they gave each other a look that screams “Seriously?”. XD

In general, though I’m impressed with how patient Loid is since most people would call quits by now and I love how little Anya is doing the best that she could because she knows how important the mission is to her pseudo-dad. Not in this clip is the part where she tells Loid that she’ll do her best (which seems to touch him) and demands that he unties her from the jump rope she tangled herself in. It was funny and endearing. XD

Considering Anya is only like 4 as opposed to 6 I believe, I wonder if she'd get better at this stuff after a little more time.

anya is definitely one of the most realistic child character in anime history, she isn't unusually mature like in most anime kids, she's got A LOT of flaws unlike some kids in anime who are for some reason acted way beyond their age, but most importantly, her thought process is so simple even thought she's got telepathic ability, this is how a child character should be portrayed
