When do you do incorporate the coconut oil pulling that you do that you recommended in another video?

Brushing in the morning immediately after waking up because of the bacteria build-up during night sleep is logical. But your mouth pH drops during sleep so isn't that as bad as if you brush your teeth immediately after an acidic meal? Isn't it better when you first stimulate your saliva production through eating breakfast and then wait 30 to 60 min and then brush your teeth?

Hello Dr. Burhenne, first, thank you for getting into the dental field. Most brilliant people won't make that sacrifice. I was just diagnosed with periodontitis. Never heard of it. No dentist ever informed me that I had gingivitis. So I never had time to reverse the gingivitis because, again, I never knew I had it. I was very upset very. One of the reasons I bias thought I never had gingivitis is because my gums never bleed. They don't bleed because I always floss. I'm 38 years old. I believe the main reason I got gingivitis was because of my binge drinking. I would drink 12 drinks, eat bad food, then go to sleep without brushing. Also, I snore and sleep with my mouth open. My mouth would be dry as the dryest desert. I would brush twice a day On the days I did not drink. But only once on the days I would drink. Anyway, my drinking is what did me in. The good news is most of the gums are at 3cm. Remember, just diagnosed this year. The bad news is, I have 3 gums at 5cm and 5 gums at 4cm. I paid 800.00 for a perio mouth guard and 50 for the medicine you in it. I have not been wearing the mouthguard with the medicine over the past 3 months. I wore it 3 times. The reason I was not wearing it was because of my binge drinking. Now I responsibly have an A- average at my jr college that been at since the Regan administration. Unlike my procrastination with jr college, I can't do this with this periodontitis. I want to live past 55 years old. I discovered you and Dr. Dannenberg last week. I watched the two of you discuss Periodontitis. I knew nothing of the oral microbiome. I know about a healthy gut. Some great news is I buy all organic food from whole foods. Grass-fed grass-finished lean red meats. Keep low low carb. No fruits. Except for blueberries. No hidden carbs like carrots. Bad news is I have not been eating this way consistently over the past 3 months. I have been eating the lean red meats but not the greens. I love the greens like I love vodka. I just don't eat them when Im hungover. Ive been able to kick the alcohol. The more bad news is my mother buys a lot of bad fast food. I hate fast food. I am not addicted. But when I am hungover, I'll eat stupid fast food. Like chicken nuggets and a big mack. Good news, Not addicted to soda or candy, or processed snacks of any kind. Thank God. Super good news, you and doctor Dannenberg scared me straight and super educated me on oral microbiome. I have eaten greens and lean red meats for 5 days in a row. I have never eaten the greens 5 days in a row. I try to eat a batch of greens a day. I eat twice a day. Would it be bad to eat 6 small meals a day ? Bad news, I have medi-cal. I don't trust my dentist. They told me nothing about how to truly manage my oral microbiome and periodontitis. I feel bad saying I don't trust my dentist. She is a very nice Indian lady. I like her very much as a person. Good news, I have scheduled an appointment with a bio dentist in Santa Monica. Bad news, they don't take medical. I have to pay 180 cash for consultation. My mother is going to pay for it. I don't have a job. I just go to school. I was working at Wholefoods this year but was let go at the end of my work probation period. Let go for non-sense. Anyway, I need work so I could get PPO insurance. All these bio dentist only take PPO. So lets get to my question. I had braces as a kid but I did not wear my retainer. God. Why GOd. So now there is some crowding in my front bottom teeth. Good news is just the front 4 teeth in the bottom, not the top. Most of the mouth is pretty straight. Another issue is I had needed a bottom back left tooth removed. Not the last tooth in the bottom back left but the next to last. A very big tooth. I want a dental implant, not a bridge. Now the orthodontist asked me in I planned on getting braces or Invisalign in the future. They said if I plan braces or Invisalign, I have to do that first before the implant. Weeks after that I was told That getting braces or Invisalign could make my periodontitis worse. They said I would first have to get my periodontitis under control then get approval from the periodontitis dentist to get the Invisalign. My teeth are pretty straight. I don't care to have perfectly straight teeth. My concern is the crowding negatively affecting my periodontitis gum disease. Do you highly recommend the Invisalign after my gum disease is under control? Or is my slight crowding no too gig of a deal? Is it too risky for my gum disease to do Invisalign? Should I not do Invisalign and just get the implant with the bio dentist. Don't super straight teeth super positively affect my peridontits into my 40s 50s and 60s. I am 38. Thank you and Dannenberg for helping save my life.

Thank you, sincerely James
