I have an older pal Snes styled SN30 pro as well as one of the newer Gameboy themed ones and i honestly imediatly felt the same differnce in the D-pad. tbh I'm not a fan, maybe it will soften with time but ive got half a mind just to give up on it and try to order replacement parts the the older controller all it needs is a new start button really

Actually have the new one and was going to return it to nab an SF30 Pro for aesthetic, but definitely will keep it now. Appreciate the help man. Hope we eventually get a new update that adds a black color scheme, ultimate software, and the analog triggers like the Xbox SN30 Pro.

I have the og SF30, and changed out the X and Y for famicom buttons that were designed CONCAVE. Funny enough, Shigeru Miyamoto actually praised the U.S. design team for the concave buttons making it easier for new players to learn the controller.

Yeah, dude. I got the SN30 Pro arriving today. Been waiting a while. I like the American Super Nintendo theme cuz that's what I grew up with. I got it with a retro receiver because I'm using it with my SNES Classic which plays N64 games now! Can't wait to get it!

I actually have a wired version of the SN30 pro (I have the SNES one with the concave x and y buttons, and they have the gameboy style too for the wired, but that's it so far for their wired controller, I find it odd they didn't release a Super Famicom style, because I'm sure people would love that). I had been watching 8bitdo's work on their controllers for a while, and had been interested, but was always hesitant to pull the trigger.. when they finally came out with a wired controller, and especially since wired means a cheaper price point, i finally pulled the trigger, and I haven't been disappointed with it so far!

Well that's not really a choice anymore as the SF30 Pro and SN30 Pro (first one) are nearly impossible to find brand new for a reasonable price. Even the used ones are more expensive than the original price.
