I've been watching your channel since I was like 15(I think) I'm now 24 and I am the same about makeup. I used to use so much and now I have like 5 or 6 products that are quick and easy. I think getting older made me realize I just didn't want to spend so much time on it every time I put it on. It's fun, nothing wrong and that, just for my own life and how it is going at one point I was like I can't keep doing this lol I do enjoy spending that time for events and nights out still though.

I stopped caring about makeup when I got into my 30s. These days I just spot conceal, then throw on tinted lip balm and eyeliner. But even that makes a huge difference, if I forget or don't feel like applying any of it, all of the "Are you sick? You look pale!" comments roll in. 😂

I am also light olive and do concealer only! It's too difficult to find a matching color, so better just to let the natural skin show.

I can totally relate, I stopped using foundation after I turned 25 and only spot conceal, shape the brows, a simple liner (mascara if I feel like it) and color chapstick- done! Super quick😂

YES! So hard to find foundation + concealer for pale olive skin. I end up using the palest white and adding a hint of the more tan olive shades.

This is so realistic and feels good to know I'm not the only one with this kinda makeup routine ❤️
Even I don't like foundation. I don't have dark circles, but just a few ance spots. So I skip concealer as well.
For me it's tinted spf, powder (i live in hot and humid india), mascara and some nude lipstick. If I'm feeling extra, I use a brownish nude blush with shimmer that kinda looks like a bronzer to add some color and look a bit sun kissed (even though I'm already brown and sun kissed🤭)
And yess it's always better to focus on skin care. I too love to have a skin care routine, specially at the end of the day. It feels really good.

After the 3 months long lockdown I stopped completely wearing make up. Just once I wore some mascara.. with wet weather and the mask. It was the worst decision of my life. Everything melted and I turned into a panda 😂

your complexion is so pretty I too use that same blush I found it because of you actually because I have pale olive skintone too its virtually impossible to find any blush or bronzer that don't look like coral orange or rusty mud on me lol

I feel your pain with foundation color matching. I have extremely pale olive skin thanks to having albinism in my family and they just never make olive based foundations pale enough, they always make me look a little green and sea sick 😄. The closest I ever found was the absolute lightest shade of tarte amazonian liquid in a little glass jar/pot, but at $35 for a tiny jar i just never use it. I'm so glad I'm not the only fair olive tone with this problem.
