In this review I revisit an oldie but goodie, the HyperX Cloud 2 headset. Does its legendary status hold up in 2020? Let's find out!

Notes (content removed via editing to keep video short):
-No pc Y adapter is included, had to buy one off Amazon
-Sound testing: when using both the provided usb card's and the Astro Mixamp's 7.1 surround sound options turned on, the sound was actually pretty good on both options. Personally I feel 7.1 off sounds better though.
-The only in-line volume/mic control this headset offers is via the provided usb card.
-The 3.5 cable is not detachable and is pretty short, was not a problem when sing it on the PS4 controller and/or Astro Mixamp, but was an issue when I attempted to use it on my pc. It was too short.

I just bought these again. These are probably the best sounding and most comfortable headsets I've ever used. Legendary Status indeed!

Have had mine for 5 years now (pleather is all warn out, but that's about it). Love the crap out of it - the quality, the look, the sound (even for listening to music). Waiting to wear them out completely and then will buy the exact same set.

Thank you so much, I was having a hard time picking between this and Logitech pro x, this made me realize I dont need the pro x since I have a separate mic! I only needed really comfortable and great sounding headphones and I have heard a lot of great things about this headphones and also $20 cheaper compared to pro x! Great review !

You said it's not very light, yet they're as light as the lightest headsets in that in that price range, amd also use memory foam, which helps tremendously! at 0.61lbs, I'm not sure what else to want oO Great review, thanks!
