I always dismissed it when you, King Richard, Lefty and Fengrush would say you can just feel the game lag when huge zergs hit each other. Well I finally switched over to Haderus on console and the game was just unplayable with Reds, blues and yellows smacking into each other non-stop and not really accomplishing anything. I really hope they do something about zergs now :/

The problem with giving credit to the alliance that does the most damage is that no one will bother participating in a fight that is in progress and instead will just wait for the tired winner to get picked off last.

This would make incentivizing people to keep progressing in the battle already in progress very difficult.

Lastly while a NB could participate in stealth AoE tagging, potentially the other players could spot them and realize it would be easier to kill the NB rather then each other before continuing.

Honestly it comes down to what abilities your willing to slot and the sacrifice to actually doing damage. After all Sypher was only able to show this through a mock battle, not a real one.

In my case when I try to sneak a kill from a group of 2 factions battle each other, someone spots me and decides it's easier to chase and kill me then keep up fighting the other group.

Its to easy for healers to get Emperor all they do is sit in the back of the zerg and press 2 buttons. They earn more ap then any other class

AP rewards shouldn't be based solely off of how much damage you do to the enemy. Support roles are very important particularly in large groups, and they typically don't get a lot of solo kills, but they contribute massively in other ways such as AOE disables, heals, debuffs etc. You could have just 1 or 2 support roles in a group of 40, and it would make a huge difference, but if AP was solely rewarded only to those who did the most damage, or who got the kill, those people would get pretty much no points... On top of all of that, you'd end up with people stealing kills, and getting pissed when they receive help from their team mates because their team mate happened to have higher dps. The idea as a whole would ruin group style battles, which is mostly what the whole campaign is about.

Would this work just as effectively for a magicka build? Or would i use something like twisting path (for night blade), to get more damage?

Good luck doing this on XB1 AD. The reds and blues work together and never actually go at it.
Might work for me from time to time though. :)

I'm not saying this isn't a good stategy. All I'm saying is getting akaviri motifs will take years doing this.

AP farming isn't even really a playstyle. Would be like saying farming mats is a playstyle.
