V break is so illogical. You've got 15, 000 tons of water in the bow. No force could raise that by just breaking in 2. I get where someone might be coming from but it just couldn't work that way

Reason why it split: so much weight was being raised out of the water that it couldn't hold the lights went of because the electricity didn't function due to water. and it split in half. You also forgot the theory where it broke with 2 funnels on the back and 2 on the front

It was not just the strain from the stern up in the air, but the waterlogged forward section pulling against the air filled rear section, so not just bending, but a tug of war. The ship tore herself apart, the sounds described on that night were of metal ripping apart.

I read like 6 sites about the Titanic, watched 10 videos, and I think the James Cameron 1997 is the correct version of how the Titanic sank. I love the video very much!

I have come to believe the ship partially grounded on the ledge of ice, breaking it off and also damaging her keel while also doing the side damage. The ship may have been progressively breaking apart from that moment on, with the weight of flood water increasing the fracturing. One boiler room started flooding later from BELOW rather than above at the bulkhead top, so some kind of damage happened along the keel.

Your theory (Onue onue theory) isn't that accurate ngl. The break spot isn't in the right area, the 4th funnel doesn't fall when the ship snapped. And the mast on the stern didn't fall down it stayed up when she snapped (If you were just doing your own theory that isn't based off any testimony, I understand but I just wanted to name out some inaccuracies in your video.)

Kind of unfortunate how you didn’t include James Cameron’s 2012 theory, or On A Sea Of Glass. Especially On A Sea Of Glass because that is said to be them most accurate based on real testimonies.

I’m currently a believer of the 2012 theory. Since some survivors say there was a split and others say there weren’t I believe the split must’ve been subtle and quiet at a low angle. If anyone has any other theories I’m open to hearing them!

Edit: Fixed a spelling error.

Don’t remember where on YT I saw it but it was more of a crumple from the keel up and then split rather than splitting from the top down. Which makes a lot more sense if you think about it. The weight would have been pull apart at the top while pushing together at the bottom and the thin metal finally crumpled and the force sent kinetic energy up and outward splitting it in two.

The most accurate sinking I've seen is the James Cameron 1997. Don't hate comment until you read it all. The sinking was correct but the actual way it sank was it had a big starboard list after to collision. Then, as it sank when E deck started flooding it began to have a port list. This lasted until the area where Collapsible B was on the bridge. Then it evened out to an even keel, creating a big wave washing the crew off which was the last time any survivors saw 1st Office Murdoch or anyone that got washed away. As the base of the 1st Funnel flooded the supporting cabled snapped off causing it to collapse. As the boat deck was pushed down the angle of the ship was about 23-30 degrees not 45 like in the movie. And before the area of the 2nd funnel flooded all the way it fell down as well. The split of the Titanic was just under the 3rd funnel causing t to collapsible as the stern fell down. When the stern rose up, the 4th funnel fell off. It didn't rise like in the movie. And in the movie when the stern rose up to its final angle no it wouldn't have capsized. It wasn't at a full 90 degree angle. It was around 80-85 degrees. When the ship fully rises and there's a scene right by the bottom of it and when it goes down it's not a perfect 90 degrees. It could be possible but no it wouldn't have. Titanic: Honor and Glory has the most realistic sinkings.

Tbh ur theory doesn’t account for testimony, the wreck and in some places physics

This video deserves to get more views than the original one

Reason why the funnels collapsed:
The funnels were not make thick, it was just made of thin sheet metal. The pressure caused the funnel’s base to collapse inward, like a coke can, which caused the rigging to collapse and the funnels to topple over.

Apparently the rear half of the ship got mangled and torn up the most due to the pressure of the water going into the empty cavities of the end and tore it apart striping it like flesh from the pressure.

Well technically James Cameron one should be true since they used the real survivor from the Titanic. She should have told them everything
