Problem statement: Rod OA oscillates about O in a horizontal plane. The motion of the 2.5 kg collar B is defined by the relations 𝑟=250/(𝑡+4) and 𝜃=(2/𝜋)*𝑆𝑖𝑛(𝜋𝑡), where r is expressed in millimeters, θ is in radians and t in seconds.
Determine the radial and transverse components of the force exerted on the collar when
(a) t = 1 s
(b) t = 6 s.

Answer:
a) F Radial = - 0.49 N
F Transverse = 0.10 N

b) F Radial = - 0.249 N
F Transverse = - 0.025 N

I enjoyed the problem but didn't get the same answer. May I respectfully suggest you recheck d2r/dt2; I believe you may have forgotten "n" in the nx^(n-1). Maybe it should be (-2)*(0.25)/((4+t)^3)?
