The Samsung Galaxy S21 just came out, so let's see how it compares against the Samsung Galaxy Note 20!

Just bought S21, and one thing they failed to mention in ALL the review videos I've seen, is how quick the phone heats up, like super hot to touch, and the sound is bad. When my alerts go off the sound is like a broken speaker type sound. Quite disappointed within the first hour of turning my brand new phone on

You emphasised 120Hz panel at S21 but this is nightmare for users. This phone with 120Hz default settings has problems with battery draining. After switching from old 2- or 3-year old phone with much lower battery capacity (ex. S9+ with 3500mAh) to new S21 with 4000mAh you feel cheated. Screen-On-Time for new S21 is very poor - switching to 60Hz improves battery life.
That's why this feature is not advantage but a kind of disadvantage responsible for draining battery quickly.

Well hmmmm something you did not talk about really was that the S Pen is really essential if you are using things like OneNote on your currently have the Note 8 (yup long ago phone but I love it) and without the S Pen the use of OneNote would be a that in mind if you are using your phone for productivity. It truly is essential.

Who cares that it has a plastic back!! I want a phone that function well for the price. Everyone I know puts a protective case on their phone, so why do so many of people's reviews comment on the plastic back and frown down on it. Functionality should be the main concern.

Summary
Note 20: Its quite good for the price, less expensive than s21. Almost similar characteristic in camera but its not a big deal, you got a pen if you like to draw or write notes, bigger screen, it last long, batt last a lil bit longer than the s21, its fast and smooth, but then the s21 is better.
S21: The price is more expensive than note 20. The camera have same pixels, but then it have some extra feuture which is once again not a big deal, no pen, but then you can buy one, a little bit smaller than note 20, just a little, it last VERY long, short batt life, but then you can litellarly bring a charger and power bank -_-, its faster and smoother.

So, both are good phones, its good for gaming, taking picture, storing memory.

I hate the way the camera looks on the s21. I wish it was flush with the phone. No micro SD slot? No charger? Meh 🙄

I really wish the s21 had 12 gigs of ram, alot of times when I'm gaming the frames just crash out of no where, I'm pretty sure it's because the phone is using 100% of its ram and literally all I need to do to fix it is go out of the app and go back in, then ram refreshes and goes back to normal, I had a note 10+ before this phone and it had 12 gigs of ram so this was never an issue, but yeah that's my biggest problem with this phone and will probably result in my upgrading the second my phone plan contract ends

Note 20 is not as good as note10, s21 plus is not as good as s20 plus, so I used my iPhone 11. But I own them.

I was about to buy the Note 20 (new) but just found out I can’t put transfer my SD card from my current phone?? All my pics and documents are saved to the SD card. This is a game changer for me as I’m not sure how I can transfer them otherwise?
This is a basic feature which I’ve had on the majority of my phones, staggered and baffled!

Could you please explain to me why is it important to get updates? Especially when samsung often downgrades thair phones with updates. For example note 20 after may update has worstened the low light video performance
