S21 still giving me better and comfortable hands on feel. Because it's lighter and I think plastic isn't that bad at all. Plastic does not break that easily as

I'm still using the s10. theres nothing wrong with it. ive changed the battery earlier this year, and it still performs. sure, performance is comparable to a midranger and the battery life is somewhat mediocre in todays standards. but it does the job, plus it has more features than Samsung's offerings today. i will keep using it until i see a compelling upgrade from my s10. keeping unnecessary e-waste from landfills is also a consideration in my books.

Thanks for the video. I have an S21and I love it. I still don't see this comparison as reason enough to upgrade tho. My battery life has improved contrary to yours. Plus, my phone runs so well and I've never had any issues with it.

Despite being an iPhone user, the S 21 ultra was my favorite, the S 21 ultra is still impressive in my opinion.

The SD8Gen2 chipset itself is worthy of the upgrade. It's such a powerful and power efficient processor! 🐲

I got my 21 last Thursday and im blown away.. i come from rhe s21 FE who got stolen and at first I thought there wasnt gonna be a major difference, but one i got this s21 on my hands the difference is quite noticeable, from the build, the screen and the brightness to the performance and camera. I truly

S21 is a very very good phone. Differences with last gen phones are not to big in my opinion

Important not to forget the Exynos variant of the S21 which may further compel an upgrade

Literally the only reason I'm considering upgrading from my S21 is the diminishing battery life. This phone has been aging super well compared to any of my other phones. Love it.

S24 leaks show massive GPU performance gains and finally a real camera upgrade. If you can wait the, 24 will probably be the phone to buy as the S23 is pretty much just a refresh.

I'm watching this on an S20 and had already decided to skip the S23, the camera improvements were not enough of a change to make me upgrade. Maybe the S24!!!

I went S21+ since it was second generation 120hz device and that was important for me. Still snappy, good battery, and gonna get Android 14/15 + 1 extra year of security updates.

My S21 has a great battery life. I was thinking of switching, just to see what was out there
I'm happy with my S21.

The first year I got S21+ it was acing it with all aspects. Battery, camera, smoothness and so on. However, as soon as an update installed around in March 2023, the phone started to "seem" bad in processing speed, battery and specially camera.

I am a regular user of basic browsing and youtube and music. No games, I tweaked all background apps to stop functioning.

Battery: As soon as i take it out of the plug, 5% of batter is gone within less than 10 minutes even if not being used.
Camera: Camera recording became very sluggish and blurry, the 30x zoom used to capture the moon with details on surfuce, however that is not the case as the moon now becoming blurry and out of focus.
Processing: If I play music on car bluetooth, and lock the devie it will lag for 5 seconds and the song will be stuttering. if i navigate apps while music is on (Anghami, samsung music, back ground youtube) then all sounds are stuttering.

It is a shame that samsung is having such targeted & planned downgrade of performace.

PS: I dont download ay weird apps, as I said I am a basic phone user (Email, camera, music, notes, youtube). Not even clicking unknown clicks types of user.

Excellent comparison video!! I have the S21 and I am still getting great battery life and performance from this phone, so I plan to keep it until Samsung stops supporting it or if the phone breaks down and stops working. Overall I am very impressed with what Samsung has been doing with their smartphones in the last three years!! Only wish Google would offer the same OS and security updates that Samsung has been doing!! Keep up the great work, always enjoy your informative videos

i normally upgrade every 2yrs on average. stuck with the Samsung Galaxy S-range for many years now. I think my 1st was an S4.
the material of the back: majority of people will use a back cover which greatly improves the asthetics of the S21 in my opinion. i don't know of anyone who uses peak brightness and therefore i don't see this as an issue (or "upgrade"). battery is so negligable that i think it's too tough a call to announce either a winner. (comparing each when they were new, obviously).
for once, i agree with a tie for cameras. i wouldn't be able to choose a outright winner. both are excellent. benchmark scores: naturally going to be improved in some form on the newer device.
this is why i personally didn't go for the S23+ (i had a S21+) but instead decided early this year to upgrade from S21+ to S22 Ultra. as the new S23 launch was only a few weeks away at the time, i was able to pick up my S22 Ultra for literally half the cost of the S23 Ultra. actually less than half the cost. a steal in my opinion. definitely a great upgrade from the S21+. much more so than any huge differences i'd have seen from the S23+. only downside is, i'd consider anything less than the Ultra a big downgrade in future.

Yes you are right, I have S21+ for 2 years now and the phone is great. I de-bloated it from pre-installed bloat and from some samsung apps, features, and its fast as on the first boot. No reason to upgrade to S23. But still, i´m waiting for pixel 8 and then I´ll decide whether keep S21+ or get the Px8. Nice video, stay safe, Lubomir from Slovakia.
