Raw Grindcore Drumming! (Nasum Drum Cover)

Vapula here, drummer from the black metal band Heart of the Serpent. Here is my cover of Nasum’s wonderful song “Slaves to the Grind”. I’m still using camera audio only for lack of other resources, but I am still pleased with how this turned out. Noisy as hell, but that’s what grindcore is all about, right?

I took some small liberties with the drum part to make it work for the set up I am currently using and to add my own personal flare.

Note: I used the Moises app to remove the drums from the original track for my backing music, and as you will hear, there is a very quiet snare that crept through during the intro. I created my own intro because it was not possible to press play on my laptop and then begin playing quickly enough to do the original intro. Not sure how that snare was not removed properly by the AI, however the rest of the track there are no issues.
