Like your video, I'm looking at this and the pioneer 1000-3 for my wife and 7 year old son and I. Is it still working good for you ? Does it ride well ?

Certainly,
I had the pioneer 500 and found it incredibly rough and it was continuously shifting and hunting for gears.
The Yamaha in a very well engendered and rugged machine and the reliability won’t let you down.
It’s a true work horse if that’s what your after.
