You have done a great job showing the beauty of Taxco, We were there in Jan 2023 and loved it! We took the bus from CDMX and felt safe and welcomed even though we were the only extranjeros we saw in town. We walked up to the Cristo - it was not that bad - the view is amazing and we enjoyed seeing the homes along the way. Some cute soccer kids walked the last few blocks with us. We took a taxi back to the main square. We also enjoyed the funicular and exploring around the hotel and homes in that area. We loved the fresh pine smell. I also recommend climbing up the bell tower in the church for an amazing view. One thing we did not like - it was a bit stressful to walk on the narrow streets - we had to press up against the walls for cars and bikes to pass by.

Gracias for this video! I found a cool old silver ring in my garage, and after peeling off layers of old tape that someone stuck around the shank, I found it stamped Taxco, MEX, inside. I've never heard of Taxco before, but WOW! What a gem of a city! I think it's now on my bucket list. :)
