HOW TO GET INTO WILDLIFE CONSERVATION: CAREER IN ZOOLOGY. "How do I become a zoologist or conservationist" is one of my most frequently asked questions, so in this video I share my own personal journey for the start of my career in the conservation sector. I am still very much at the start of all of this, and have a lot to learn, but hopefully this will help some of you looking to follow a similar path working with animals.

I'm trying to get a volunteer position at an aquarium and a wolf conservation eventually. I've been telling people since I was four that I'm going to be a zoologist and it truly is my dream/passion. I love animals so much and I can't wait for my future in studying/working with animals.

Edit: it's been three years since I posted this comment and I've not only volunteered at an aquarium for the past three years, but I also worked as an environmental conservation intern, taking care of animals and practicing regenerative land maintenance practices. I'm now studying biology as an undergrad student, and I just secured a research position at my university, studying the behavioral ecology of dung beetles.

I'm in high school so I'm at a time where I'm thinking of what I want to be. Right now I'm stuck on Botanist or Zoologist! Your video is kinda making me lean towards zoology.
