Saw a lot of people saying this weapon was trash but it does good damage, it has a lot of ammo, you can arc the shots over cover or hills and it can also stun lock enemies. Plus the explosive trait bypasses armor.

This tactic for chargers just makes it all the more appealing of an option

People talking about Hunters, but you can take the Machinegun or other support weapon for those. You can actually use the secondary weapon to that (yeah, not that useful but you can). And you face way less Hunters than Walkers.

The issue is how it deals with normal guys and other big bads. Like if it can handle other big ones, then bringing a lmg can help with everything else. BUT that is if it does.

Best weapons against terminids is a massive reach. The gun can do damage, but has no answer to being swarmed by hunters or scavengers. It's cool somebody found a niche for it, but you can take chargers out just as fast with many primaries by mag dumping into the abdomen, and there are other options that ignore medium armor and deal with smaller terminid swarms.

My main loadout for chargers/bile titans is the expendable at and the primary is the new scythe that acts as an assault rifle, that is a beast of a weapon... secondary i still rock the redeemer... and impact grenades... thats all...

I like this gun because it can deal with chargers. But the sickle seems efficient for dealing with current hunter swarm

I've tried this method but didn't work for me. Most of the time the charger just stood there not moving staring at me like saying "dude wtf you trying to do?"

Im wondering do hitting impact shot to the back of the charger kill faster than just hitting under the charger, since this is count as explosive/splash dmg, it deals 100% dmg

With the power of this gun you could free up a stratagem slot which lets you dramatically increase your damage output. People that are worried about add clear could run an extra eagle to cc
