Keir Mather, UK's youngest MP, says Labour has ‘rewritten the rules’

Labour's Keir Mather delivers an acceptance speech after being declared the winner of the Selby and Ainsty by-election.

Labour overturned the Tories’ 20,000 majority in Selby and Ainsty in the largest swing since months prior to Tony Blair’s 1997 landslide.

In Somerton and Frome, the Lib Dems also overturned the Tories’ 19,000 majority, winning by 11,000 votes.

Well he’s not been in his seat long and already the labour council are creating chaos and decay in our district. Offices planned in rural villages, hgv’s allowed to rip through small B road villages, alongside primary schools to dump containers in fields. Damages to roads from HGV left unrepaired for weeks. Council tax increased and service reduced, we pay twice for green bin collection. Tax money spent on pet projects with money heading or diverted to fellow labour supporters business. It’s an indication of how inept this guy is locally and how bad UK will be nationally as socialist tax more to waste more.
