Sonic unleashed doesn't need a remake it just needs a port

Really hope this game gets a remaster soon, so many sonic games are stuck on older hardware and could use a remaster for those who haven't played it yet like the advance, rush, story book and riders games just to name a few. Really glad emulation exist because if it wasn't for that most of these games would have been forgotton since emulation is the only way to play them at this point.

Fantastic game that could use a couple tweaks, mainly remapping the homing attack button, and giving the Werehog a drop shadow

With the right setup with xenia canary, the game is perfect besides low unchangeable resolution with the required renderer, but it has fsr and anti aliasing.

they've remastered sonic colours, ported generations to modern hardware with some fixes in the sonic x shadow gens bundle, and (hopefully) next will be unleashed to finish off the 2010s games, UNLESS THEY DECIDE TO REMASTER LOST WORLD FOR WHATEVER REASON...

haven't watched the full video yet but I suspect the reason for a lack of a port is related to copyright issues with Endless Possibility (the main theme of the game)

A lot of the old data could be reworked but even with the success of Sonic Frontiers and the somewhat mediocre sells of Superstars, I don’t think It’d work out much…
They already have a finalized Sonic model of today’s era. The old Sonic would clash with that as it’s a separate but older model.
Not to mention, voice lines would need to probably reworked as ports tend to break and mix a few things up. And don’t forget, this is 2000 - 2010s Voice of Sonic. Any new lines from the other guy is not gonna happen anytime soon should a port be made let alone a remaster.
