if you are getting an error that cannot be converted due to disk faults, just go properties on disk you want to convert and check and repair errors and do again converting in CMD as admin ..this also works and wont lose your data on big external disks like 1tb etc...if you are asked to type label volume of disk (type your disk name that you see on my computer)

1.convert DSK1_VOL2 (D:) /FS/NTFS
OR
2. convert (d:) /FS/NTFS
