$1000 All-AMD PC Build Challenge: What Would You Do?

Показать описание
What kind of PC would YOU build with $1000? In this video Adam was challenged to build an all-AMD based PC, but he couldn't settle for just building one version - so he build two! He builds a gaming focused as well as a production focused PC, talks about why he picked the parts he did, and even does some light testing to see how they perform.

Great job Adam, both systems are awesome. I'd be happy with them for sure, Merry Christmas...

I was like, why the heck do you go with 7700X rather than 7600 for such a built?. Then you mentioned that it's $400 bundle. I wish there's such bundle here...

If anyone is wondering the bundles for both builds are currently available in store at any Microcenter

Getting a little creative with the cinematography. Love to see it 😊

I'm planning an all-AMD build in the near future. There's no way I can justify to myself the extortionate cost of an Intel/Nvidia combo for like 5 extra FPS.

Lightroom and Photoshop are lightly threaded so it's not too surprising that the difference was the Gpu. Vray needs more cores for sure, if you'd have done Blender rendering you would have seen the gaming rig win that one too but really the best for 3d is a 7950x + nvidia 4xxx

7700 xt is such a good gpu, if the price is right, I'd definitely go with that one.

Great builds Adam. I prefer the 7700 none x because thats the one i got :D but that black build is mean.. even the white with the pulse gpu looks great because of the contrast.

Great build and video, Adam. You have made a lot of progress in your PC assembly skills. I would go for a blend and a slight budget boost for my build by using the package deal that you obtained and a jump up to the 7800XT GPU 64 GB of RAM is the only way to go for production!

pure gaming, pretty neat how much u can get in that system for that price

look I understand this was a 'what you can build with this budget' video, However, the reality is most people won't have access to the bundles you are using to manage your budget. So, it's a bit frustrating to know that these builds aren't easily obtainable and at the $1000 price point, they should be.

For pure gaming, I would have gone with a 6800 over the 7700XT.

Production, but mainly for blender. The GPU is extremely important for Blender. especially when it comes to viewport rendering

In the spirit of the holidays...will you guys do a giveaway for those builds???

I like the 7700X better. GPUs are being used for a lot more than just games. So bigger GPU can increase your productivity even more than the more cores.

Be happy with both system specs as a non creative that does not make a living from my pc. Hopefully more of these bundle price deals start to reach Europe and UK.

Adam is definitely the James Dean of the PCWorld crew. He's just so unpredictable.

The prices on storage are insanely good right now.

These builds are reliant on whether or not you have a Microcenter where you live. Otherwise these builds aren't possible at this price point.
