you don't need to add salt to the vinegar, in fact that is the last thing you want to do. any salt left in the connection is going to corrode the connection again REALLY fast

Sweet, I can use this to not only fix any possible flood damage after my 310k 08 passat had water puddled in fronts seats for a month bc of a clogged ac condensor line, but that tin plating should save my functional parts from being super old and worn in another 5 years

Distilled water and distilled white vinegar.

I would say that if you're going to do something that is connected to a vehicle, disconnect the battery first to prevent any shorts. I'm doing a little research on how to clean up my brake light wiring harnesses and that came to mind. 😐

Could i use this for my taillight harness? i used electrical cleaner and a wire brush to clean before which worked for a while but stopped working again

Do you know what kind of terminals the liquid tin will work on? Will it only stick to copper? This is exactly what i need for the wiring harness im restoring. Most of the pins are just steel though.

Dont use dialectric grease on electrical cables/connectors, it's an insulator...look it up
