Terrific presentation - insightful and helps to better explain the underpinning reasons so many of us 'Baby Boomers' are questioning the legacy we are leaving behind for our grand kids!

This is good stuff. I think some attention should also be given to Zero Population Growth, too...you're still going to have to provide products, but the rate needs to be sustainable, and you'll have trouble achieving that unless ZPG is on the table...

I have never been a materialistic person. I much prefer having the time to think about the nature of reality and the universe :) It would be nice if that becomes the norm in the future. One things for sure, eventually computers/robots/AI will make most jobs redundant - except for the creative non-routine jobs like making movies, computer games, etc. Hopefully, as a society we can learn to share the remaining work around so everyone can live with plenty of free time.
