Since i work in a foundry, this was fairly interesting to watch.
We would perform a dozen of strict tests everyday just for the sand we use to cast and even the slightest changes in its qualities will make it practically useless. It seems like he was preparing the sand very spontanously and without any measurements…
Even the metal he uses could be mixed with a huuge variety of other alloys or create new ones, immensly altering the characteristics of the end product.
However if i were there i would tell the customers not to buy the parts unless they know exactly what went into them lmao..

It's a very interesting way of working for someone with a casting technical qualification. Mixing is especially important when making casting sand..It's something I've been doing for a long time, so I think he's mastered it.
