The History of The Circus

For centuries, the circus has provided the public exciting and thrilling entertainment, involving dancers, clowns, acrobats, and unicyclists, and more. The circus is a form of entertainment that has evolved since its inception, from the Ancient Roman times, to 18th century England and America, to the modern circus, also known as cirque nouveau.

Today on Feed My Curiosity, we will explore the history of the circus. What are the origins of the circus? Who performed the first modern circus show? And how did it come over to North America and grow? Let's find out!

On one hand, I respect the choice they made about the animals but on the other hand I think the circus wouldn't be the same unless they at least make a legacy for the animals.

Like Circus 1903, a certain circus that made life sized puppets of the elephants.

With puppetry, your animals can do anything in the circus.
Seeing lions and tigers greeting the audience with no cages, elephants doing new tricks or even include animals you'd rarely see in any circus.
Sure they wouldn't be real, but they'd feel real.

Business is promoted because the slaves to someone else's PRIVATE CURRENCY of them need performers to tax, so the circus is really quite old. 🐿️
