When I was working as a chauffeur one of her Bodyguards was my client. This was about 13 years ago. At that time he said she really had not quite got it in her head how dangerous it could be for her. She wanted to go to a mall to shop. But, security had to explain that was just not safe. He said she was incredibly sweet.

Taylor treats her staff very well. Who would think she only has 1 or 2 bodyguards? That would make the 2 work 12 hour shifts 7 days a week. Taylor treats all her staff amazingly so it makes sense she would have a crew so they get days off every week plus vacations. Also, I believe the guard fired for singing along at her concert worked for the stadium and was not her personal staff. He should have been watching the crowd for nuts, not singing along and having a fan take his photo showing him and Taylor on the stage.

Just so people know that guy wasn't trying to kill Taylor. He was just a fan, and he wanted to jump on the stage and hug Taylor, but he couldn't, so all he did was grab her boot. He did not want to kill Taylor. He actually filed a lawsuit against the people who started the rumors about him trying to kill Taylor.

He wasn’t a bodyguard, he was event staff. A lot of venues don’t allow their security staff to engage with the show like that.

That guy singing was not one of her bodyguards. He was part of the stadium security hired by a security firm. And the reason he was fired was because he gave some fan around him his phone to take pictures of him while Taylor was performing behind him.
