How to Get the Official Screen Recorder for Samsung Galaxy Devices

Yes Samsung does have a screen recorder... it's just not on your phone by default yet and probably in beta. Here's how to get it on your phone or tab. No other Android device.

So let me clarify a few important things...

1.) If you're getting an error that one of the apps (or both of the apps) weren't installed, or it keeps crashing, that most likely means your device isn't compatible. Either that or you already have a screen recorder in the quick settings, so you'll have to move on. Get a screen recorder off the Play Store.
2.) You can actually record system sounds by pressing and holding onto the screen recorder icon or the icon that says so (thanks to Yoshii for pointing that out for us.

3.) Ever since One UI 2/Android 10, a screen recorder is built into the software. So this includes almost all 2020 Galaxy devices, and any devices eligible for the update.
4.) About that whole "it may harm your device thing" it says that for any app you don't download on the Play Store or Galaxy Store. You're good.

Lastly... can't see the button order thing? Just rotate your device from landscape to portrait (trust me, I know... it's stupid).

btw guys, yall can actually use this and record the sounds coming from ur phone and not the backgroud noises. i use galaxy s8+ so idk if this works for all phones, but all u have to do is hold press the screenrecorder button. it will then show some options & theres a specific option there called "record sound" and its gonna be under "mute" thats why u cant record the audio in ur phone. so press the option "record sound" and choose "system sounds" & ure done ! u can now record ur screen together w its audio !!!

You can change it to record sound if you press down on the app in your notifications and then set it to system sounds and even voice at the same time

I dont have the reaorder thing on my files when I go to internal storage the to download... I dont know why

Hey, man i've downloaded and installed both. When i installed toggle pie one it was installed but the screen recorder wasn't installed it was showing "app not installed" plz reply fast

This was very useful. Only thing is that whilst I'm recording some on-line music streams the audio stops BUT when I play back, the audio is there, weird.
It's odd that the audio shuts off from the speakers. Galaxy Tab A 10.1 Android 11.
