I’ve watched the Wanamaker organ walkthrough series 2-3 times because it’s sooo detailed and amazing. Fran, I think you’re popular to the point where you can do videos interviewing the makers of famous … “things” … gigantic pipe organ or something else! I do like your philosophical videos as well—we aren’t makers living in a vacuum. But I do hear the practical limitations. Thanks for being one of my favorite YouTube makers!

I feel like the sheer number of channels in my subscription list are really crushing some of the channels I love to see and for sure YouTube does not often recommend franlab videos to me although I usually watch them when it does.

I started watching your channel for the electronics content, many years ago, still watching today. I do wish you would do more in electronics.

Quirky, low-budget, and unfiltered/authentic - That's what we came for! Naturally that's what the algorithm can't stand, as it's considered not commercial enough.

Might be necessary to split the channel in two so that diverse content isn't forced to compete. I'm late to the DIY electronics party (late diagnosed autistic = educationally undersupported) but keen to learn.

New subscriber here, not an electronic type at all, but finding the 3D printing vid relaxing. The algorythm recommended your video about the erasure of trans and intersex people. As an XXY Kleinfelter trans elder, I watched it and immediately felt you were family. This video breaks my heart, I'm so sorry that you can't do what you want to do most, abd have to make talking head vids. I love to look at you telling your stories though. Not much money here either, though I'm definitely becoming a $5 Patron member now. Friends of mine live in an appartment building in Hudson NY, which is very affordable. Would you leave Philly though, I can imagine that being too much. Hang in there, Fran ❤❤❤❤❤
