1. put enough time
2. Don't prepare it at the last minute
3. don't have a too high goal in a short time
4. be consistent
5. know the route
6. do specific training(sample test)
7. wholisitic process(movie, podcast, reading)
8. run the route(mock exam)
100%

Magnificent video, not only because it’s straight to the point and actually useful, but because of the brilliant analogy which spoke to me on a spiritual level for I’m not only trying to get better in my English, but also trying to challenge myself with taking up running. Thank you for this! 🥰

I discovered you channel three days ago. You've brought back the fun of learning English I used to feel years ago. Greetings from Poland!

I've been preparing by myself for CAE so far( What a journey! Still in need of consistency), and this is definitely the best pieces of advice I could hear. Grateful Ben, hopefully you'll be overlooking at the summit of the mount in a few months, break a leg!

Thanks for this analogy-video, that was truly inspirational.
And what about another advice: 'be prepared to fail'?
I think that the biggest amount of anxiety comes from the fear of not making It: Will I be good? Will I be enough? And that will inevitably result in me struggling twice as much to reach my goal, or not getting to It at all!
Be ready to fail, always knowing that Life Is like a train station: you miss one, but there's still plenty of others arriving!
Good luck with your English preparation!
