Solo Overnight Hike in Drizzling Rain

I guess summer is over? The last few weeks we’ve gone from warm and sunny to cold and rainy. I quite enjoy this type of weather, so I hike out into "my backyard" here in Svolvær, Lofoten. I pitch the tent and make a quick meal in the drizzling rain. The quiet atmosphere when there is rain but almost no wind is quite relaxing.

I’ve recently bought a new camera, a Canon EOS R5, so this video is the first one I’ve filmed entirely on that camera. It’s a lot smaller and lighter than my previous camera, so there might be a few longer hikes coming up! This also means that I’ve completely changed the way I do my color grading. Previously I relied on FilmConvert, but now the grading process is mostly manual. I still have a lot to learn about the camera, so things might change. Everything was shot in 4K HQ and in Canon Log.

At first I'm like, there's something about this 705 video, and then I'm thinking, there's something about this R5 video lol. Canon imaging looking awesome in this video! Mic X audio sounds good when input directly into the camera no doubt. Thanks for sharing!

Did you sell your XF705 or will you still use it? Will the R5 be your main camera for future videos?

Is the camera different? the color is not at all the same, it is simpler, as in ordinary cameras, the picture is clear, but the color rendition is quite simple - like everyone else, in my opinion before, in most videos it was more beautiful.
