How to Activate Audi Launch Control - 5 Easy Steps

Wondering how to activate the launch control in your Audi? Well, it's super simple. So wonder no more.
Step 1: Put the car in sport mode
Step 2: Deactivate traction control (press the TCS button once, don't hold)
Step 3: Put your foot on the brake and hold it down
Step 4: Press the gas pedal to build the revs
Step 5: Release the gas!

This guide works for any Audi from 2017 onwards. We performed this launch in a 2023 Audi S5.

Step 4 is to build boost not RPM your boost gauge will tell you when you reach max boost to launch. BTW! Step 5 is release the brake not the gas.😊

This is not launch control it’s brake boosting.

There is however fuel cut launch control available from companies like IE tho with stage 2ecu+tcu I believe.

That’s not how mine do it. You have to press the brake harder. The revs will be more free revving. This was brake boosting.

Doesn’t that increase the wear on your automobile? I would never abuse my car like that. I do drive fast, sometimes I’ve been known to exceed the speed limit by 5mph! 😂
