Fascinating talk by an excellent speaker. However, the idea that feeding a much larger population in the future will be easy (no problem!), seems to ignore one critical fact- soil erosion. Search "soil 60 years" and you will get a Reuters report published in Scientific American (2011) which reports UN stats showing that globally there's about 60 years of farming left, and details the speed we're consuming topsoil vs how long it takes to produce it (up to 56 times the rate to replenish, 1000 years for 3cm). If you search "gove soil erosion" you will find the British environment secretary in October 2017 warning how the UK only has 30-40 years of soil fertility left. Those are just two examples on this topic, and a simple search shows lots of supporting results. This seems in stark contrast to the 'we have the solutions if only we could generate the will' philosophy.

14:00 Mr Randers, yes we all agree, in agriculture and industry 90% of the productive path has been traveled, this is not the case in the services.
to do so, it's time to put, in " the service " the principe of a marketable share company (one share, one vote)
including setting in company by action for firefighters, police, doctor, surgeon,pharmacy, cities, gas, electricity, education ...

Percy Barnevik nosti Strömbergin, Wärtsilä nosti itsensä, KONE oli ensimmäisten joukossa, ja on aina vain edelläkävijä, NOKIA:n kännykkänisness hiipui kun tuli parempia kilpilijoita, EU yritti nostaa Suomea, mutta on ollut epäonnea matkassa...Sipilä, Stubb, Soini ja muut, uhratkaa hieman julkisia varoja ja aikaanne tämän miehen viestin sisäistämiseen ja Suomen nostamiseen alamäestä.
