THOSE WHO DEFEND *My Hero Academia* (FINAL WAR ARC TRIBUTE #1) Fan-made Soundtrack -BY AIGE-

Okay! We’re finally back with a new MHA medley type of song. Since season 7 is finished and so is the manga, I thought of just calling them tributes now, as in to honor Yuki Hayashi’s masterful music, the anime and manga.

I know this one took forever to release but I’m glad I was finally able to make it! I really hope you enjoy it!! I changed the format a bit, and might have to change it further to simplify it if I want to publish more songs quickly, hope you guys don’t mind.

So, let’s do the usual breakdown shall we?

Unlike other medleys, I didn’t follow a scene to the T per se, I just thought of a scene and made a song out of it or with what came up to my mind. The moments I chose were also pretty random. I skipped some more unique moments to give them their own song in the future and just played with the ones I had. I just wanted to try something a little bit different and this is the result!

-For the beginning, well I was obviously gonna use AFO’s theme “The power of All For One”, just made it really menacing and more heavy on the orchestra.

-Then, some might not recognize it, but I used the same ostinato of my Mirko medley for when the villains enter through the portals, just made it sound more evil, I thought it fit very well in there.

-Then, when the heroes arrived, I used the “Weeee Are Fuxkin Super Hero!” theme, with some added drums. Then came probably my favorite part of this entire medley. It was mostly improvisation on my part but I used one of season 5 songs, “QUIRK DON-PACHI Great Exchange”, just the vocals. Since it showed during the class A vs B arc, I thought it would be fitting for Monoma’s moment.

-Then I used a small part of “The Spear and Shield Match”, changing it up a little bit at the end. Followed by a more rock-ish orchestral version of one of my all time favorite MHA songs, “Kibasen”!

-After that comes the Endeavour segment. I used the “Mannen No 2” piano melody and added a small bit of the song that played for Dabi’s back story, “Look at me”. Then I followed with some original bits of strings with the “Kimi no Chikara” jingle sounding once, building up with a small tease of “Just another hero” or the “My hero academia” theme.

-Then I did a small cover of “Kimi no Chikara", changing a bit the end to lead to the next section: Endeavour beating AFO’s ass!

-For this I did a cover of “Just another hero” experimenting with the drums a little. Once that segment was done I made some improv on the melody being followed by “Just another hero” theme once more.

-Then I made something for AFO rewind. I basically used the “The Next me” song and played with it. I used some of the strings at the end of the original song, in the beginning of mine as horns. Then we come to a small improv part, using the theme of “All for one” as in a more ominous way, with a lot of rewind sounds (you know ....cuz…he is rewinding ...yeah). After that I used the horn of the latter part of “The Next Me” as a guitar, added a small original outro ...and that’s it!!

Yeah, it’s a long one, but I think it had to be! I don’t know whether the other ones will be this long or split in pieces, I don't know if I will be able to do much about these songs as I said in my community post, but again, only time will tell. I would also like to wait for the season 7 full soundtrack to release. I want to see what new masterpieces Hayashi has made and see how I can incorporate them in the next tributes.

I hope I’m able to upload more frequently, let’s hope fate is on my side I guess.

Do you or anyone know if there is an official track for Spinner’s speech and break into the hospital at the end of ep 14? If not, I think it’s a track that could be expanded upon in a cover.
