I'm still technically an NRA member, because I signed up for a lifetime membership back when I was in the Navy (Nixon Administration/ Vietnam Era). the NRA was a shooting enthusiasts organization back then, with a STRONG commitment to gun safety. Wayne LaPierre and Charlton Heston changed all that. What it has evolved into is a lobbying group for the munitions industry and a money laundering outfit for Russia. in the ensuing half decade the USA has become like a third world country, awash in weapons and people pushing a political agenda that us decidedly unAmerican. IF you don't stop the madness, it will engulf and destroy you.
