I just returned a high end Taki, it started off nice. Within 6 mos it morphed into POS. no techs could fix it.

I purchased one, and although beautifully crafted, the tone was too similar to my 314ce. Exchanged it for a 614ce Builders Edition with Flamed Maple sides/back, Torrified Spruce top with Wild Honey Burst finish. Wife got a Baby Taylor for $100.

Hello guys my name is Travis Yates, a.k.a. Travis burkhalter, oh musician, singer songwriter, and I am also a guy who was born with cerebral palsy. It’s a nerve and muscular disease that makes things poor like walking or playing guitar but I was able to accomplish those things I will say, though that every guitar that ever played was a struggle, no matter how low the action or how thin the string every guitar do to my CP cerebral palsy I would find it challenging play after a period of time, but wasn’t till one day friend of mine showed me the very first Taylor guitar I had ever seen when you put it in my hands. It was like guarded part of the clouds and showed me the hot I could play so much better. That guitar made me play better. It felt so good in my hands but sadly I knew that I could never afford it, I was on a fixed income and I take care of my mother, but I did get my YouTube open running so if the guys from Tyler would just hear me fellas if you would just sponsor me one guitar I promise you it’ll be worth it. I will play it on every show I will played on every feed. I will play in every town I will play and sing your praises. I will do the open box and put it all on my YouTube. I will give you all the support and praise that you deserve. I will tell everybody what you done for me of course if you can’t, I do understand but I have my YouTube going and I noticed that you do sponsor people with YouTube‘s who will play the guitar and unboxed it for people and I promise you I can do that please help me out

What a dream guitar and I want to buy the 814ce Builder’s Edition.
The store here has only the Taylor’s 814ce V-Class and not the Builder’s Edition.
Can you tell me the difference between the Taylor 814ce V-Class and the 814ce Builder’s Edition?

The fact that the top is made of four pieces of Adirondack Spruce, as opposed to the normal two pieces, is this just glued together along its edges, or are you required to add additional bracing inside to support it? If there is additional bracing doesn’t this make the top less flexible, and therefore less resonant; or if there is no additional bracing isn’t there then additional points of potential failure at the additional glued edges?
