You should get a jar of Better Than Bouillon Chicken Base and keep it in the fridge--that way you'll always have chicken broth! I got really tired of the boxed broth going bad when I didn't use the whole thing in a recipe. Now I just make the amount I need; only 1 tsp. BTB per cup of water. One 8 oz. jar makes 38 cups of broth! BTB has a good flavor, unlike other brands of base.
