How do you know if you're in 4wd mode? Will the dashboard say so?

Thanks for posting these videos!! What tow bar brake assist are you using, and how did the wiring to the rear lights work? 3 wire? 4 wire? I'm considering the RM8700 for the brake assist, but I've not taken possession of my '78 FJ just yet. Don't know if the brake and turn indicators are the same, or separate (which dictates the 3 vs 4 wire), I think. Also, are you still good with flat towing without disconnecting the rear driveline? I share the concerns below that without the t-case guts spinning, the rear t-case bearing won't be lubricated by the "splash".

If you’re t case is in neutral aren’t your gonna burn up the t case cause there’s no lubrications??? I flat tow my fj60 and a Toyota Tacoma, just to be safe I throw all the hubs in free and disconnect the rear driveline. But if you can put the t cases in neutral that would save me rolling under the truck every time
