Then regulate your short term rentals. Only so many days year can they rent out properties. Limit cruise stops, that’s hit and run tourists, they spend next to nothing.

My friend lives in Ibiza. She told me this : I still remember how covid was. No one had any jobs no one knew what was going to happen. Dont understand how they can say they are tired of tourist. Without tourist there is no income for most people on these islands.

They could fix Santorini by banning the cruise ships. Permit visits only by chartering yachts. Impose a significant tourist tax or pause them alrogether like they did on "The Beach" in Thailand....

We will have to put limits and whatever else suits them. But if the tours don’t come out to complain about lack of money and funds? I think this is a no-win situation you’re gonna have to limit how many planes can land, and how many people can leave and I don’t know what the answer really is other than regulating who comes and who goes in so I hi I haven’t been to Europe in years because I can’t deal with the people either.

Tax all the tourists per day 10 euros through airlines cruise ships and second home owners and Airbnbs and hotels and large companies. All the money goes directly to the residents that work and pay rent.minimum 1500 extra. It would slow the black money market as well.

Look to New York, it is still cracking down on airbnb's. Now it is only allowed if you live in your house to accommodate guests/tourists. Now ony two guests/tourists are allowed. It really has got all out of hand. Use hotels. Airbnb's etc are becoming too expensive now as far as I am concerned and we are not getting value like we used to. I totally agree with the locals. Maybe all inclusive hotels need to be looked at too.

Any tourist walking off a cruise ship should have to pay an entry fee to the city that ends up going to infrastructure, hospitals, and schools

1) Hostels
2) Airbnb (except those costing >=€200 per night
3) Backpackers

Impose:
1) Higher, 2x to 5x, daily stay tax.
2) One-off Entry fee of €125 to €200 per city/town.

Ban:
1) Bar crawls
2) Rave parties
3) Tourists cannot take public transport or have to pay multiple times more.

Any city care to take up these measures?
