My first experience with Corey Taylor was the Slipknot self titled album. It was 1998 and I was in middle school. Hearing his solo stuff really demonstrates the amount of talent he has. Going from one of the most unique bands ever made and one of the greatest metal albums ever made, to be able to do any type of rock or metal style genre to this extent is a rare thing. I hope one day people really appreciate this man’s talent.
