Hi Kateeee. You are one of my favorite people. I like how you explain everything when making the apron. I love all the different types of aprons you have created. I would like you to please take some time out of your busy day and show me how you completed the top of the apron. I understand that you sewed all around and left 7 or 8 inches open so you could tun it right side out, but were on the apron did you leave that opening? Then with what type of stitch did you use to close the opening? Please help me? Thanks so much

Tricky835, I got the pattern form a book and had to trace out the pattern. After making a couple, I modified the pattern to make them wear easier. After modifying them I decided to make my own pattern and that is what I will do in April. However, you can find many cool apron patterns just by looking at your local hobby, craft and department stores. Thanks for asking.

@rnbgiles I wonder if your friend made her skirt? That is interesting.

Thank you so much for responding. I understand what you did now. My only question left is when you sewed the last two pieces together and turned them inside out did you so it by hand or with the sewing machine?

I notice you cut out two pieces of apron... Well you be sewing them together? Then I didn't understand what you did when you were sewing the two... Help?

I cut two pieces because these aprons are lined. I am not sure what part of the sewing you did not understand, but after I sewed the ruffles and pockets, I then sewed the front and the lining together by putting right sides together. I sewed all around but left about 7 or 8 inches open so I could turn it right side out. I then sewed the opening closed.
