I think I’ve heard of the “third climber” thing. Apparently it happened to a few people and I think on various mountains, not just Everest. However they are supposedly very helpful and friendly!

Also, not-so-fun fact, people have been using the dead bodies on Mount Everest as waypoints/checkpoints for years.

😭 oh hell no! I hate heights like u Jess so I would not do it. I remember when we went "mountain climbing" in Tennessee (it was a mountain trail that u could walk up the Mt) my dad tried to get me to come closer to the edge to enjoy the view and I'm just like "the views fine from here thanks"
