This hurricane season could very well be like the 2020 season and i wouldn’t be surprised if a Cat 5 hit the US this year all i can say from Texas Louisiana Florida and The Carolinas are the hot spots definitely for a landfall this year

I went swimming during Spring Break in March at Bald Point State Park in Wakulla County, Florida and it was wonderfully warm - very surprising.
This past Sunday, Mother's Day, I went swimming at St. Joseph State Park in Cape San Blas, Florida, it too was warm and I was pleasantly surprised.

Florida is loving the temps this week! North Florida is forecasted for mainly 94 to 96 degrees F for most of next week. We don't ever need multiple consecutive days of 96 degrees F.

Early offseason video? This is new!! It will be interesting just how warm the MDR can be by atleast July...im not expecting a major warm up but to atleast 0.5 which will be sufficient for any MDR hurricanes. 3 Months to go until the true ringing of the bell!

Are the above average water temperatures in the gulf of Mexico related to the lack of hurricanes from last October?

What was you thought on that Andover tornado ?

As the low tries to cross the gulf stream it may try to become sub-tropical.It wouldn't have much time before crashing into land though.

* Cough cough* Why are you using F When Meterology uses Celcius :P So I'm taking Svr weather classes and From my Class Notes: High pressure systems:

CLockwise Spin spin in atmosphere
Doesn't create Showers & t-storms
Dry

Can be windy due to windshear If it follows behind low pressure system
Also has pressure Difference then low pressure I've also Learnet That Pressure doesn't Fluxuate Unless its a hurricane.. My question to you Can you Get a SqueT sounding of a hurricane to find out wind speeds inside the outer parts of a hurricacne Via windbarbs And do hurricanes Produce Wind Shear?

I must say the Gulf truly surprised me in how quickly it warmed up. I agree with all You've said, 2022 will be very active if the patterns allow it.

Europe sees alot of high pressure lately and drought.
Floods in Australia have resumed in a very heavy way above Queensland & NSW, they may face their wettest year this century!
Overal worldwide there are some very interesting weather patterns..
